    1. Ensure that the Nutsch filter is empty and display the status board as “U/ Cleaning”.
Open the Nutsch filter and remove the filter bag.
Connect the pipe DM water line and the other end of the pipe in a Nutsch filter.
Open the DM water controlling valve and start flushing the Nutsch filter with DM water.
Continue flushing of DM water in all corners of the Nutsch filter till it is visually clean.
Take 10 to 15 L of Methanol into a carbyl. Take a mug, and flush the Nutsch filter with methanol to replace the water.
Continue running the Nutsch filter for 5 min and then stop it.
Wipe out the outside of the Nutsch filter with a clean and lint free cloth.
Check the Nutsch filter visually and ensure it is cleaned appropriately, if any adhered material is noticed, continue cleaning operation as specified above and check it visually.
Disconnect the transfer pipe and keep it at a designated place.
Check the bag visually. If any damage is noticed, replace it with a new bag. Enter the filter bag change details in the filter change record as per SOP.
      Properly fix the Nutsch filter.
Apply the Nitrogen Nutsche filter for 5 minutes for drying and set the filter bag.
Update the cleaning status board as “Cleaned and Ready for use”.
Record the cleaning details in the relevant checklist & BPCR.
Frequency: Cleaning shall be performed before starting the batch.
